• Tesco home insurance warns of British summer crime

  Summer is approaching. So Tesco, a home insurance company warned people to check their gardens to ensure they are fully burglar-proof. This is a warning from Mr. Mick Kelly, the manager of a group neighbourhoodwatch.net, who said this time of year is British Summer Crime.

  He disclosed that over half of all house thefts occur from the back of the house and urged people to make sure that their fencing are still as high and secured as it could be from the winter season. Tesco has come up with a set of rules and tips to ensure gardens are fully secure, including planting thorny plants such and roses and holly under window sills to prevent easy entry.
